@SorteKanin the problem is not with air pollution, but only with specific pollution at the stratospheric level. It is here that some reactions can be created between the residues of satellite combustion and some gases and some nebular structures which can have a paroxysmal impact on the Earth's climate

There can't be more than a couple of thousand tons of satellites up there considering how expensive it is to launch stuff into orbit.
