Who should pay and regulate psychiatric and psychotherapist help?
No idea. It's not something I would know enough about. Maybe something that is highly subsidized on a sliding scale so that everyone has access but government can't start controlling the customer too much.
I'm not saying there is no way to leave the government out of mental organisation, but at the current support and state of anarchism, mutual aid and popular compassion, I'm fine with democratic control of mental institutions. Now, reaganomics made sure that there's a trend of oligarchic control of mental processing, ie sanity as a scarce good.
