Summary

Mexico is testing a cellphone app that allows migrants to alert relatives and Mexican consulates if they believe they are about to be detained by U.S. immigration authorities.

The “panic button” app, announced by Foreign Affairs Secretary Juan Ramón de la Fuente, aims to address fears of mass deportations under Donald Trump.

Alerts notify chosen contacts and the nearest consulate, while Mexico has increased consular staff and legal aid for deportation cases.

Full app rollout is expected in January, alongside a 24/7 migrant support call center.

I mean, as vile as the supreme court is, lifetime appointments means they aren't under trump's influence anymore.

We had a supreme court in the 1890s (read this carefully, the 1890s, not 1980s) that was very disgusting and upheld racial segregation, but that same court also upheld birthright citizenship (Wong Kim Ark vs United States). So we never know what would happen.

Is this court gonna become even more backwards than a 1890s court? Idk 🤷‍♂️

Only time will tell.

Blackmail what? Embarassing nudes? Evidence of illegal acts?

I don't think they care.

They are not getting impeached and any impeachment would never get the 2/3 in the senate for conviction anyways. They have no elections to worry about. They're here to stay.
