How many of the people pearl clutching didn’t even notice we just overthrew Syria?

But I guess white western countries are supposed to be off limits.

Hmm, let’s see, one country was ruled by a murderous dictator using chemical weapons against his own people and crushing dissidents to a pulp in secret prisons. The other is a mature, functioning democracy with rule of law and a free press.

Yes, yes, I can see how you think that’s exactly the same.

The chemical weapons claim has debunked many times since the claim was made by intelligence orgs, and the white helmets exposed as a western regime change operation.

Which country is the “mature, functioning democracy with rule of law and free press”? Would that be the UK, which is crushing pro-Palestine protestors, arresting journalists for criticism of Israel, arming genocide, and participating in CIA torture black sites? The country that has openly declared it will defy ICC arrest warrants?

You need to stop listening to the British right, that never happened. The conservatives threatened it and then they got removed from office and now it's not a thing anymore.

Let me know when Starmer starts supporting the arrest warrant enforcement.

Not that it makes any difference because the government don't decide policy like that it would be the police that would arrest him should the impossible occur and he actually turn up in the UK

Also let me know when you can be bothered to actually put forward an article from a non-biased source. They're all forces out there that want to completely discredit the left-wing government and while they are absolutely not been the best they could be they're an infinite amount better than the utter corrupt nightmare that was the conservative party.

Hold up. You think the local cops are acting on ICC arrest warrants?! LoL.

[-] echodot@feddit.uk 0 points 7 hours ago

Yes that's actually what the government was saying the entire time it was just idiots were construing something else from that.

I don't know what you think "local cops" are but there is such a thing as Interpol remember. There is a standing instruction to arrest them if for some reason they ever came here. You don't think the police consult the government do you?

Yes, as I said, it’s exactly the same. I’m really glad you’re here to make it so plain to everyone.
