The military doesn't like airspace violations much...
Doesn't really matter which country.

It happened to a friend (with a pilot license I precise).
He was flying a small two seat aircraft and got contacted through the radio and for asked if he was ok to do a exercice with military aircraft.
He agreed so soon after two fighter jet arrived on his left and right. To be able to fly at the same speed as him they were almost standing vertically. They directed him for a bit without any radio contact, then thanked him through the radio and left.
They were doing a exercise to direct someone with no radio contact.
Even if I knew the jets were exercising, I'd still be making diamonds.
I'm reminded of Mathias Rust. The guy is very lucky he wasn't shot down.
You ever see those “Speed limit enforced by aircraft” signs? That’s the guy you gotta worry about.
That's what "©" means. In most states you are by natural law not allowed to be faster than the speed of light
most states
I don't know of any where it's allowed but I didn't want to generalize since generalizations are always wrong. Always.
Physics is full of woke librul propaganda like “conservation of energy”.
In my state we obey the laws of alchemy.
Some states haven't adopted the most recent version of the laws of physics.
what are they going to do pull you over
Yes. With missiles.
in reality I think ATC will just wait 2 hours for you to run out of fuel and notify the local police for wherever you land
if you're headed towards the pentagon though they'll probably shoot you down
Me when I launch my paddleboard without my permit. Who's gonna stop me? The water cops? (Yes, yes they will 😞)
Where do you live that you need a permit to paddleboard?
PA, as with kayaks I need a launch permit for the lakes and rivers.
Good grief.
I don't know where op is from but a lot of states, especially in the western US require invasive species tags on any craft over a certain length, like 10 ft. Some also require state registration decals. Idaho is an example of one that takes the invasive species decals and water craft checkpoints very seriously.
Certain locales in CA are pretty big on it too. My local lake is huge on the decontamination thing and require certification on even small kayaks. They also like money too.
yep. got a warning once for not having purchased a permit on my paddle board.
What goes up most come down
depends on how far up you go
Depends on how ~~far up~~ fast you go. Reaching space doesn't mean you can stay there. You need orbital velocity.
if i’m half a light year from earth i’m not going to be falling back down
That thing is not gonna fly forever!
Not with that mindset
Shoot the gas tank, I'm sure it'll come down sooner or later..
If a cop managed shoot the gas tank on a flying plane, I wouldn't even be mad if I died in that crash
The fuel tanks are in the wings on most planes, they're not that hard to hit.
I would love to see you hit a flying plane, anywhere on the body at all, with a 9mm
Did you know, other people have planes as well?
True story, I even found one out in the woods hunting blackberries.
no man you don't get it, I could totally do it with a 22
22plinkster has entered the chat
F22?
Just be in a flying plane at the exact same speed and acceleration so that in your reference frame it becomes easy
I'm actually a little curious how screwy bullets fly when they're shot perpendicular to a high speed. Door gunners on a chopper are the closest I can think of, but I'm not sure how accurate they are in general and I don't know how less a 7.62 round would lose course vs a 9mm.
Edit: The guns on an AC-130 or any comparable craft would probably be moving faster, but from my vast military knowledge of Call of Duty, I know that the rounds they fire are even larger.
That's why I drink and fly. Who's ever heard of a FUI?
It's called a crash and burn
I mean, it's legal under faa part 103...
Yes, because nobody can make a thing that stabs the already volatile battery or anything like that...
FAA still references the original policy document written 40 years ago on a word processor. Just wow.
All fun and games until tower gives you a number to call.
They can pull you over to the next airport lr runway though, and not complying would result in the same situation as with a car lol.
I hear pit maneuvers on aircraft are a little more aggressive than a car.
“ According to 49 U.S. Code § 46317, you cannot fly, or attempt to fly, an aircraft without the proper licensure. The penalty for violating this code can be substantial, with a maximum punishment of 3 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.”

That’s a lot worse than getting pulled over with no driver’s license.
They'll shootcha down.
