I mean, Abc basically shat on the terms of the debate. Structure and muting went out the window in the first ten minutes and then they started fact checking.

I have no complaints and think it favored both sides but it was definitely hinky.

Fact checking would be piping up to correct the record things like spin and exaggeration, which both sides always do in a debate (correcting numbers, etc...)

The moderators didn't do that for either side. Their "fact checking" only occurred on statements that were clearly not reality and so far fetched that letting them go by unchecked would be opening them up to a potential lawsuit when a Haitian immigrant gets murdered by a MAGA moron.

And those DANGEROUS lies were coming entirely from one side.
