it's a little warm, egg nishna has been switched on
To make up for not feeling hungry this morning I now have a horrific craving for greasy sausages. I wonder if the Coles nearby has the brand of vegan snags I like. But after this morning's jaunt and then the boiling hot laundromat journey I'm not going out again. Ikea and the lot can be left to tomorrow.
...although, despite my recent extravagance^, I think I'll go for that pizza dinner. They do a mock beef Mexican, i have to try it.
Gonna have to work extra hard over the next few weeks to make up for some of this.
^ (and also eyeing off a $750 phone to buy on sale to replace my device bricked by the 3g shut down)

The cool change has come across at just the right time. It has cooled down enough that I could take Mr Woof for our after work walk, and we are done in plenty of time to avoid the rain.
It's officially 1.3ยฐ colder inside than out. #Winning
I feel kind of dumb for staying up until 3 to finish a negroni I made where I overestimated the quantities. At least it has been a good day to stay home and do nothing
Going out for an early market run before it gets even hotter. Anyone want anything?
Hmmm how about supplies for an English breakfast?

ugh, trying to do a crossword and the clues just keep moving up and down, forcing me to keep looking for them and messing with my head and eyes
think I'll drop that one
seriously, reminds me of early tv when they would use special effects just because they could even tho they looked shit and had no actual artistic purpose
I have stuff to do, made a kinda list. I suppose if work thru it slowly it's still done, eh ๐คทโโ๏ธ
mmkay, two things crossed off list, the searching thru boxes to get european art papers
I finished The House on the Borderlands yesterday. It was ok. Not as engrossing as The Night Lands but still very imaginative and having all the elements of a gothic novel.
I've read the Poe short stories just a few years back in a lovely edition called Steampunk Poe, so I might skip them for now.
Gormenghast? It's been quite a while since I've read the trilogy, I find the characters and the world engrossing. ๐ Greatly recommend. I think I'll do this, then Poe novels and some HP Lovecraft. These are all rereads of course, oh god I did so much reading in my 20s and 30s,
various renditions of Titus Groan have been sampled, the audible version is best and has been bought ๐
also, art books ๐ฅถ
Blerrghhhhh
Come on rain. Come on!!!

Somehow my comment disappeared into the ether.
