Bet Johnson's mom wishes she had used Plan B.
His son probably does too. I know I would if my dad was sending me his porn watching habits.
Trump: "We want "impoundment" in order to rest control of the Federal Budget and to reduce government spending"
Also Trump: "We want to remove the debt ceiling for two years"
Typical Trump, making zero sense as always.
It makes perfect sense if you realize that Trump is a lying con man bent on destroying our democracy.
He literally says contradicting things and his fans hear A PLAN FOR EVERYTHING
In my opinion they will never restart the government. In my opinion Trump will "recess" appoint his cabinet before he is inaugurated. In my opinion I wouldn't be surprised if he tried another Jan 6 to arrest anyone in the Biden presidency.
This is going to get really really weird for anyone that hasn't spent time in a dictatorship before. No one is recognizing that Trump is not Hitler. In my opinion Trump is Hindenburg. In my opinion Musk will push out Trump.
If Congress fails to meet to work on funding the government during a shutdown, then we're truly fucked.
I get people worrying that this is the path to recess appointments, but I think if anything, the shutdown complicates it because Congress will be expected to work tirelessly to find a solution.
Kash Patel is Beria if we're using historical metaphors.
Edit: or maybe Ceaucescu depending on how it ends. Now more leaning to the latter.
Imagine being a Republican and supporting this type of governance. I tried and didn't quite make it there. They, Republicans, show over and over that they can't even manage the most basic functions of Congress.
