Grim Dawn
A Shelter Full of Cats I'm a sucker for any game from Devcats.
Tiny Rogues
Diablo 2: Resurrected
Actually played it while watching the fireworks.
I'm sure you're aware, but Path of Exile 2 fucks pretty hard. Just a heads up.
Also, D2 will always have a special place in my heart.
Yeah, I'll definitely check it out when it's out of EA. PoE 1 is already great.
Don't have the energy or money for a new game at the moment, though.
Totally fair. It's been a little buggy here and there, but overall I think it's going to change how people think about arpgs forever. It's just so engaging.
My last game was grimlord. :) highly recommended to anyone who has a VR headset.
It's only 10pm in my timezones and I'm playing LA Noire.
NES Tetris. I have a little emulator device that looks like a Game Boy Advance SP, and that's been my go to while I'm traveling
Of any game? Codenames. Was playing with family when the clock struck midnight.
Of computer games, it was probably Kerbal Space Program, which I've just started to get into again over Christmas for the first time in years.
When a new game comes out, I'm compelled to play the earlier entries in the series first, so I got the Borderlands collection, and I'm playing through the first game now.
Path of Exile 2 ๐
Palworld.
X4. The economy must flow.
Witcher 3 (but there's still time!)
To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day
Hardly spoke to folks around him, didn't have too much to say
No one dared to ask his business, no one dared to make a slip
For the stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip
Big iron on his hip
Astrobot!
Cookie Clicker... Lol
For The King II
Path of exile 2
Tcg shop simulator
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead.
Not that I play a lot. I was just trying it, but it happened to be the last one I played last year.
Game is so intense. I really like the way it does inventory though
Minecraft, All The Mods 10
Guild Wars 2
Spelunky 2.5
System Shock, the remake by Nightdive.
I'm old enough that I bought and played the original SS back in the day, and it was transformative.
Gears 3
It's been Jackbox every year for the past 8+ years. A side-effect of hosting the New Years Eve party for a bunch of gamers.
Marvel rivals
Hollow Knight. I just killed all 3 Dreamers on my steam save. Currently trying to beat Trial of the Fool. Keep dying to the Mawleks.
Elden Ring, just beat the dlc and helped a few others do the same.
Deep Rock Galactic
ROCK AND STONE!
Minecraft. I just stopped playing about 20 minutes ago.
Gothic (2001). Still a really cool game!
The Sims 3. I had to figure out how to disable OneDrive backup for my Documents folder, because Sims 3 insists on keeping your saves there, and somehow everything breaks if OneDrive tries to sync them. Previously I had given in and let OneDrive sync everything because Win11 nags you if you try to avoid it.
I also have to fiddle with processor affinity to get the game to launch, for some reason.
It still crashes a lot.
Both the first game of 2024 and the last one was Medieval II: Total War.
Conquered the world with France at the start of the year, now doing the same with the Danes.
Darkest dungeon
Half life 1
Bloodborne
Yakuza 0, first time playing yakuza games an it'sfirst game of 2025
Animal Crossing New Horizons. Celebrating New Year on the island are part of our new year tradition.
This also makes it the first game played during 2025.
