A question for the hive mind: does anyone know what metro stores (e.g. a servo chain, supermarket etc) reliably sell bags of ice blocks? as in, one big block, not ice cubes?

You mean like in that Mosquito Coast movie?

Don't they make their own???? Like, to make absolutely sure there are no bubbles etc.

You could get some 1.25L/2L plastic bottles and freeze them in advance (just remember they will expand so don't fill to brim)

It’s the day we start a new circle around the sun, and it’s the day after the big one.

Day one of Singapore done - 26k steps. Told the boyo I like to walk everywhere on holidays!

[-] Llabyrinthine@aussie.zone 9 points 1 week ago

Ooo where did you walk today?

[-] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 3 points 6 days ago

We walked around Gardens by the Bay, did the 2 domes (Cloud Forest was AMAZING), walked to the Flyer, back to the hotel for a swim, then to Lau Pa Sat (not my jam but worth seeing). Feet were feeling it a little by the walk back!

Walking around the neighbourhood today, then another swim me thinks!
