my mum is a neat freak and I am a mess but not as messy as I would be if I didn't have a mother who very much likes neat and tidy

[-] StudChud@aussie.zone 4 points 36 minutes ago

Oh dayum a layered divider! 😍

I love your wave pics. Just want to go for a swim

Ah good another ocular migraine. Love this!!!

[-] underwatermagpies@aussie.zone 3 points 1 hour ago

Ew. Migraines can suck a dick, especially the 'fancier' types- I occasionally get vestibular or hemiplegic. So much worse than the common-or-garden variety, and those are quite bad enough.

I hope you get some relief soon.

[-] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 2 points 1 hour ago

I’m very lucky that I don’t seem to get it as bad as other folks, my only symptoms (so far) are only ocular. Still, wouldn’t rate the experince.

Hey CEO, here are mine. This was after a serious declutter some time back, and they have miraculously stayed tidy

[-] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 1 points 11 minutes ago

Love the vintage hand mixer. 🙂

[-] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 4 points 2 hours ago

You gotta swap those knives with the spoon unless you are left handed otherwise lovely ✅

Somewhat ambidextrous, does that count?

Although, if you’re using your right hand then you grab a knife & fork easily with this arrangement. The kid is the only one who eats dessert, so he can fend for himself with the spoons

How has this thread become Kitchen Drawer World Tour 2025?

I feel as though I missed something

[-] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 7 points 2 hours ago

I start alot of shit. I do not apologise.

[-] Duenan@aussie.zone 3 points 2 hours ago

I won’t apologise for burgers and jelly trends either.

"Na na na na na na I'M GONNA START A FIGHT"

[-] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 4 points 2 hours ago

I don't know what this means but I can box too.

[-] Baku@aussie.zone 5 points 2 hours ago

It's a pink song. So what

[-] Baku@aussie.zone 8 points 3 hours ago

Pretty sure it all started when CEO broke their cheese spoon, which seems to have lead to a bit of a drawer crisis 😂

I dunno, I don't really understand what's happening most of the time. I just go along with what the masses are doing, and I haven't been exiled yet, so it seems to be working? 🤷‍♂️

[-] StudChud@aussie.zone 6 points 1 hour ago

You can't be exiled! Youre the DT bot!!

The rest of the kitchen is a mess despite how much I’ve been trying to get a handle on it.

This is a bit empty and weirdly neat because some stuff got used and is in the wash. But I did recently clean and wipe out the cutlery drawer so here you go

I think the ones with the metal stripe through the handle were op shop. The plastic handled ones and the tray were from Coles

[-] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 1 points 10 minutes ago

My parents had the stripe ones in the late 60s early 70s. They were cool.

The rest of the kitchen looks like a bomb hit it

[-] Eagle@aussie.zone 2 points 1 hour ago

Mine does too, as does my 3rd drawer!

[-] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 3 points 3 hours ago

That's beautiful. Perfect.✅ It doesn't happen often but when it does "the magiCan can do this"? Never fails.

There was a lot more junk in the side compartment (plus sticky splashes and crumbs on the edge) but I guess the extra utensils are either getting washed or got moved

two sets of 1970s-80s cutlery , rolling pin that looks older me

impressive

[-] Catfish@aussie.zone 5 points 4 hours ago

There's a 'good' set of cutlery in its box too. The multi coloured bee stuff. The rolling pin isn't very old at all, it just got food dye on last usage.
