Very nice work! I know you said 1:2 in the title, but how tall exactly does that work out to? 🤘

[-] poshinoposhi@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Would it be twice the size? Or half the size?

[-] RetroEvolute@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

It would be half size, but I don't know what full size is so that doesn't help much. 😅 The photo next to the GameCube helps a bit, though.

Its 1m tall, Samus doesn't really have an official height besides one promo art, so I chose that round number as 50% scale.

With the armor 2M seems reasonable. 6'5" or so at 1:1

Gorgeous! Metroid is my favorite. I especially love how this appears to be printed directly in the correct colors of filament without requiring paint. Is the source model for this the game asset, or did it come from somewhere else?

Thanks! The base model is from the game itself, I extracted it using Metaforce.

This is pretty freaking awesome. The glow and LED's really enhance it too.

Ooooo, and a download link too. Nice!
