librewolf + ncmpcpp

gtklock

After having my desktop look like a rainbow for a long time I went for the opposite end. It's not a very cheerful color-scheme but my eyes suffer much less after long hours behind the screen.

Anyway, thank you all for introducing me into this new world just about a year ago.

My laptop is my workstation, and find myself fairly regularly having to switch between display layouts.

I wrote this script to work in conjunction with arandr generated xrandr layouts that are slightly, manually modified to also use xwallpaper to set per-layout wallpapers.

Also included is a systemd service that loads the previously chosen config at startup.

There's a little more info in the root README, as well as the most recent commit, for a deeper dive.

When I say lightweight, I mean it. It runs well on a 9 year old chromebook with a n2840. Niri is amazing for laptops because it is an infinite scrolling compositor, which makes great use of touchpad gestures

I would like feedback from people about things you like and things you would change. Github repo: dotfiles

c-squares written in the C language will render random coloured rectangulars in the terminal, while the font, speed, density, color, ratio and number of the shapes drawn are fully costumizable.

Every time a rectangular is complete, a new one starts to take shape.

Pretty basic KDE! (pawb.social)

We don't usually use a transparent terminal, but I didn't want to cover up the 「霜の狼」 on the desktop. :3

I drew the wallpaper myself, of myself!

This is our laptop. Our desktop is pretty similar but can't use a sidebar dock, since it's got screens to the left and right.

Why River over Hyprland?

  • Stable
  • Faster
  • Tag system - I was dwm user on x, so it felt comfy.
  • Minimal - I don't like rounded corners or confusing animations
