When I use signal on my phone it works ok. But, occasionally I need to use it on my PC. Basically every time I start it on pc, it requires updating and repairing with my phone.

As a result, I do not have access to the history of my chats.

For me, this makes signal unusable.

What do I do wrong?

Yes, but i do not want to keep it running on all computers just because otherwise it fails.

I'm not sure what you mean by that - I keep it running on multiple computers without any issues at all.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
