This. The lack of information usually means some really obviously egregious shit went down, and this particular scene has at least a 4x modifier on the severity due to the guy already spending so much time locked up on a wrongful conviction. My spider senses are telling me we got a George Floyd 2.0 if the cover up fails

Sometimes cops just get it in their head they're going to fuck with somebody. Doesn't matter why they arrest them, they're going to arrest them, charge them with resisting arrest, and obstruction of justice. Those are called discretionary crimes for a reason. Anybody can be charged with them basically. At a whim.

Even if the police want to be honest they don't have to lie.... Just put someone into a painful compression hold so the body naturally pulls away from the pain... And bingo felony resisting arrest and the officer doesn't have to lie about it.
