Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.

Rule 3: Opinions articles, or Articles based on misinformation/propaganda may be removed. Sources that have a Low or Very Low factual reporting rating or MBFC Credibility Rating may be removed.

Though luck. You voted terrorists into power and let them dig tunnels under your cities. So cleanup is going to get messy.
As long as nobody has a better idea on how to get rid of Hamas, this is unavoidable.
You should go fuck yourself with these inhuman statements. There are millions of ideas if you cared enough.
And yet you couldn't even name a single one, nor could anybody else that I asked the question.
Hard problems don't magically go away just because you pretend they are easy.
A reminder (that really shouldn't be needed) that collective punishment is a war crime.
We can also get rid of Hamas by nuking the entire world and killing every living human

2006 Palestinian legislative election
Wow an election almost...20 years ago? And how many since? Hmm what's the age of the population in Gaza? And what's the voting age?
What does that change? Hamas is still in power and still enjoying widespread support.
What does it not? There have been no elections in 20 years. It's a dictatorship and a huge amount of Gazans had no say whatsoever in their "leadership".
So they should be happy that Israel is helping them get rid of it.
By killing thousands of them? By removing access to water, internet, By bombing hospitals and infrastructure? By keeping them trapped in an open air prison? No I don't think so, if Israel wanted to help the Palestinians there are a million positive things they could do to get rid of hamas, destroying the homes and livelihoods of Palestinians is not one of them.
That's the price you pay for getting rid of a dictatorship.
And that would be? Please be the first to answer the unanswerable question that every Palestine supporter just loves to dodge.
Some of you may die, but that's a price I am willing to pay? Terrible terrible take.
First to answer? Far from it, unanswerable? No, build bridges, don't bomb them. It's not being dodged by anyone.
What's the alternative? Being stuck up with Hamas forever?
Build bridges with whom? How is that going to stop Hamas? You are providing the same useless non-answer as anybody else. Hamas is still shooting rockets at Israel. How do you stop them?
So I provide a potential solution and you hand wave it away, your solution is to destroy gaza kill thousands of Palestinians, leave the survivors in rubble with no water or food. Wipe your hand, and pat your back for a job well done? This won't destroy hamas, and it would be foolish to think it would.
I repeat myself: How is that going to stop Hamas?
Your "solution" is not much of a solution when it completely fails to address the problem at hand.
What is the problem at hand?
Hamas killing over 1000 Israeli's and shooting thousands of rockets at Israel, in case you missed it.
And why is hamas doing that?
Yawn. As predicted, yet another one without a solution to the problem.
No I have one, but it doesn't fit your narrative so you dismissed it, your solution is to kill every last Palestinian because they are or could be hamas. Yawn, predictable.
Way to misrepresent @lloram239 's position. The solution they are defending is to depose Hamas by military force, not exterminate every civilian on the other side. Genocide is Hamas' position regarding Israel as per their original charter, not the other way around.
Israel tried that when they unilaterally withdrew and allowed Gazans more economic freedoms. This autonomy was used to launch the most recent massacre.
Economic freedom by caging them in the strip? Controlling every point of entry and exit? Controlling water and gas that can come in and out? Odd way to "allow freedom"
That never works, there are always more, im not misrepresenting their point. That would be the only outcome. Kill Palestinians to get to hamas, bomb and destroy their homes and hospitals, and schools to get to hamas. If Israel wanted to kill hamas with military means they wouldn't need to destroy North gaza to do so.
