I’ve said this before, but I think it bears repeating. The rising acceptance of open disdain and hate against LGBTQ+ people in the US is unnerving. The terrifying part is that this hate is becoming state sponsored. Freedom and liberty, amirite?

I will say, however, that during these troubling times, I’ve found support and acceptance in seemingly unlikely places. This gives me hope, and made me face my own preconceived notions of others.
