lol what a shitty and thinly veiled religious law.
god gave us this land, nobody else got their land from god
our traditional language that our religious texts are written in is the most important and official language
we should spread and settle outside of internationally agreed boundaries because we are god’s chosen people
This is exactly the reason why a majority of Israelis did not support the law, and it received significant criticism from broad Israeli groups on the right and left, Jewish, Druze, and Arab.
It's also why it's essentially never been enforced.
