Robert De Niro claimed his Gotham Awards speech was "edited" to remove critical remarks about former president Donald Trump, but that didn't stop him from reading the uncensored version.

Ignoring the fact that most cloud storage providers have a free tier or include it with other services most users already have, there’s always airdrop or connecting to a network share which iOS can do now.

What files are you constantly syncing that require faster than USB 2.0 speeds in 2023? If it’s large HD photo or video files then you fall into the “Prosumer” category and have a valid use case for a Pro iPhone, both for the camera AND USB 3 gains…

…..or just wait a year or so for the base model to get USB 3, when the components are cheap and available enough to Apple to do.

Once again this is not specific to Apple. In 2022 there were about 10 Android phones that also released with USB2 speeds. Why is Apple suddenly in the wrong for doing the same thing?

Hmmm... Still think it sucks and should not have to be the case, but I concede and agree with you.

I mean I agree with you on that, it’s 2023 and USB 3 should be more ubiquitous than it is. It’s just not an Apple-specific thing is all.

I’m more upset that they would censor an actor’s speech over political concerns or potentially lie about the carbon impact of their product lines.

Oh absolutely. This is just like what Netflix did
