I would go back if the restore api access for this party apps, so we don't have to look at the sorry excuse of layout on their website.

Nah bro. They would just restrict the APIs again after 3 months or so when they think people forgot.

Yep, I'm gone gone. It only took a day and a couple of years of bad experiences to break the addiction, there's a slim chance of going back to that after looking for so long for a replacement.

I would need: Spez out, roll back of 3rd party and other malicious updates, cancel the IPO.

In other words, I’m making Lemmy/Kbin my home now.

Using the official Android app is painful. I uninstalled it right away as it was so frustrating to use, but using old.reddit.com on mobile is even *more *frustrating. I'd like to drop Reddit entirely but there's a few subreddits that I enjoy.

You'd go back to reddit while spez is still in charge? 😱

If my biggest issue is resolved, then yes. I don't have problem with stupid people, just with stupid decisions.

Ah I see. I view spez as not stupid but terminally selfish (obviously not mutually exclusive tho) so I have different priorities. Thanks for explaining! :)
