Liberals: "The Christo-fascists are coming!"

Well, they're already here.

Liberals: "They want to exterminate LGBT people!"

Not exactly a secret.

Liberals: "Trump is in-your-face quoting Hitler!"

I know. Even as a middle-aged white guy, I'm on the list.

Liberals: "I know my history! Brown shirts are right around the corner, ready to sweep neighborhoods!"

I can certainly see that happening on my block.

Liberals: "Give up your guns!"

Hold up.

POC, women and the LGBT folks are way ahead of you OP. Liberals won't talk about it, but guess who the biggest gun purchasing demographic has been the last few years. Hint: It ain't old white guys.

CAVEAT: Owning a gun without practicing safety and practicing fighting is worse than not having one. It's a commitment you don't want if you're not willing to go all out. I'm fine with that. Just don't go pick up a pistol and call it all good.

Went to my camp in the swamp today. Farted around as usual, got some shooting in though. Practiced drawing my little carry gun and getting on target. Disappointing, at best. Practiced combat reloads with my 12-gauge. Meh. Still, much fun! (Turns out loading snap caps in my living room is much easier than live rounds that go bang!) AR-15 malfunctioned today, couldn't figure it in the field, had to take it home. Turns out it was a squib due to shitty ammo.

Was some of that last paragraph puzzling to anyone? Those are the sorts of things you have to learn about.

Tomorow I'm taking my Filipina wife shooting the .380 I got her for Christmas. (Filipinas aren't used to guns, at all.) It's totally cute! Hot pink, steel-frame Bersa Thunder. Super sticky and weird. Probably take several hundred rounds to loosen it up, get it in shape. It'll take that many rounds to get her comfortable with it. LOL, she'll likely never carry, not sure I want her to.

Did I talk about commitment? 1,000 rounds through your weapon are what I consider minimum before you carry it.
