Scrolling down in a community doesn't show more than a handful of posts? (lemmy.world)

Using Jerboa for lemmy. Going into the community only loads a number of posts, sorted according to whatever sort I have selected, but never loading any more than that. It's a little irritating, especially when I want to scroll through a community that gets a lot of posts daily or weekly. Is there a setting I have disabled/enabled? is this a bug or a feature?

Same issue, been going on for months now. I read somewhere that it has to do with the Jerboa client and an upcoming update is supposed to fix it...
