Kind of amazing. In my head this is basically saying "we can't protect people in parts of downtown Vancouver and rather than change that, it may just be easier to abandon the area.

I'm sure some lawyers would like to be away from the poor but at least one lawyer was hospitalized after being assaulted leaving the court.

It's pretty gross lawyers apparently think they're special as opposed to the rest of the plebs downtown.

So, say someone were hospitalized after being attacked for being gay and the gay community asked the city to step up and increase community safety, would you also think it's pretty gross the lgbtq community thought they were special as opposed to the rest of the plebs?
