Evicted 82yo man sets himself on fire rather than leave

Body camera shows as deputies were attempting to escort 82-year-old Anthony Goulding’s wife out of the home, Goulding began pouring gasoline on the carpet outside of a back bedroom.
Goulding’s right arm catches fire and then he throws a gas canister at the deputy. The flames grow larger.
Goulding passed away in the house fire, along with a dog.
No one said all people. Op said cops and landlords. Two positions that commit violence on innocent people as part of their job description. To be a cop or a landlord is to be a bastard. It's inherent to the professions.

Cops and landlords are not all people, unless I'm misreading this thread, that was my point.
I don't do any of this, I only jumped in to point out the grammatical miscomprehension between y'all, I'm as neutral as Switzerland here.
Ok I guess it's hard to focus because you are agitated by this thread, totally understandable.
You make a point about generalising "all people" (which was totally valid btw).
Other commentators point out that cops and landlords aren't "all people" (as in, there are people that exist that are neither cops or landlords), and they're "only" generalising these sub-groups (again, not saying I agree with that either).
Miscomprehension ensues.
No worries! I'm just proud we turned it around. The goalposts were indeed moved on a technicality here. There are certainly a ton of people around here that refuse any nuance on these two groups, I totally got your point and think it's a fair one, I also don't like blanket statements.
