Just played metal gear solid. Damn, that actually surprised me. The story was good, gameplay was good, and this was all done on the PS1? I'm taking a small break before heading up to MGS2 and figured I'd share this screenshot for all my fellow gamers XD
Sadly no, too many damn lists, "top 10 details in gaming", and other such things like that to avoid the spoilers lol. But, i sat back and enjoyed the game as not only a "game" but a little piece of gaming history and DAMN, MGS is very ahead of it's time in style, meta references, and presentation. the screen blacked out with a green "Hideo" in the corner in Mantis's fight.I imagine you played the remaster on Steam, how did you defeat him though? In the original

You had to plug your controller on the Player 2 slot so that Psychomantis couldn't read your mind.And that seems hard to reproduce the feeling on a PC while still giving everyone a chance to win the fight

There's a setting in the Master Collection's options menu that let you mess with controller settings, and one of those settings is connect as P2
