I love new music, but I don't follow links to music unless I know I'll like the genre. For anyone that migrated, r/listentothis is my prime example (I don't know if they ever came back online, so I'm unsure if anyone can go back to reference)

Example - title, artist [genre]

Wolves of the Revolution, The Arcadian Wild [folk][bluegrass]

Any rule adds a burden to the mod team. It can be made easier with auto-mod software, but we should make it clear we're asking for more labor from volunteers.

That being said, I'd love a rule to prevent directly linking to youtube, and using invidious or piped instead. I'll mod if it helps to enforce the rule.

Might be possible to have a bot that auto-converts youtube.com links to yewtu.be?

I've seen the PipeBot frequently, only on comments though. Does it work too when the YT link is in the post directly?

Also, I'll give Invidious a look.
