Is it after an update or is it checking for an update?
Does turning off autoupdate help, if you're on windows?
FF is decent for me, but I've turned off stuff like that
Na I have not upgraded arch from like 2 weeks
Aah. Didn't FF have an update recently?
Did you try that? Maybe it'll help fix this?
And if that does not work, maybe trying out the Extended Support Release would be good?

I updated arch last night. No change.
Probably try ESR
One more thing I remember now. I installed Gnome theme for FF. But that was 2 months ago. Then Theme was not rendering proparly and I removed it as per guide… Facing issue from then, BUT It is on all gecko based and I removed .mozzila folder atleast thrice. SO,That should not be a problem.
