Does anyone know why its called "netris"? The first time I saw the name, thought it would be a network Tetris game. :D I get the N, but why etris?
Same here. Dreadful name. Classic open source.

Maybe a riff on lutris? Not sure why though
If anything, they are playing on similarities to Stadia (even adding a keyword in the repositorys keyword list). I found this issue talking about the name: https://github.com/netrisdotme/netris/issues/48

But I don't know, together with the rest of the reply this sounds a bit robotic like from an AI. I'm probably wrong here, but nowadays can you blame me for that? Whatever. My point is, they may even change the name if they are serious about this topic.
