I've been using induction or those old school ones with the circular metal plates that heat up for so long. The Airbnb had gas and dear god I do not miss gas stoves.
I probably wouldn't have paid the oven dude tbh. I'm assuming you didn't realise it was broken until after he'd already left, but I would've called him back, told him it was broken, and then just not paid him afterwards. He's the one that broke it 🤷♂️
