I am relieved to hear this, I was concerned that teenage-you had stuffed you up for life. My work absolutely would have cared.
I was prepared to have the contract withdrawn. It has happened twice already this year. I guess I got lucky with this place. And they appreciated that what happened was 9 years ago, and that I was honest and upfront about it.
