Fun fact: back in the olden times of the 1900's, it was common in the US to elect presidents who were under the age of 70. Or at least that's what I've read in history books.
Reagan was considered old when he was elected at the age of 69 and 73. One of the big marks against Bob Dole in 1996 was that he was 73. Biden will be 82 and Trump is 78.
The last 2 US presidential elections have both had both candidates be so old that if they won, they would break the record for oldest president ever elected for their first/second term. A record that had previously been held by Reagan for decades.
And with Reagan, he started having quite a few signs of Alzheimer's during his second term.
Okay, Grandpa Joey. Let’s get you back to bed.
Your username makes me think: I wonder when we'll get the choice between a cyborg (where the machines are keeping the person alive) vs. a literally dead person (head in a jar? abstract representation of an administration without a lead person in it?).
Geriatric vs. felon may seem tame in the years to come!?
Nixon's back baby! AROOO!
Technically, geriatric vs geriatric felon
That's "geriatric vs geriatric felon" so far... but we can go further!
(Yeah I meant as in "mere" geriatric, but excellent counterpoint - it's not like we even have a choice in that regard)
It'll be a while, since the parts would need to be made in the US if they're going to be president.
Yeah, and we practically don't make anything anymore. Except we're starting to, now that it's a matter of national security!
