"It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country."

Duuuude, you are massively responsible for the country being a shithole. How is this at all incredible?! The incredible thing is it took THIS long for someone to take a shot at either of โ€˜em.

Several assassination attempts in USA history - Kennedy, Lincoln and a couple of others whose names escape me. Political violence has been part of the culture from the get go, when the Pilgrm Fathers set up their little isis-lookalike theocracy.

IIRC USA President is the most assassinated job.

Yeah, I was wondering why it took so long. I thought the number 2 reason their redneck gun but types give for why they neeeeeed a gun is that they can assassinate their leader if they don't like them. Or maybe it's number 3. Dealing with trespassers, personally taking down an invading military, and assassinations are what I hear the most often

So it's real. I found out through a screenshot of a meme so I wasn't sure

I sent this meme to several people who found out via it

Seriously. Abe's guy made his gun like Tony Stark at the start of the first Iron Man. This guy had access to everything and missed

Tbf though, didn't someone try (and fail) to shoot an (Eastern?) European president like a month ago?

The meme lords never fail to keep up with the times. I found out about this through a meme too, same go with that twit app becoming a letter and various celebrity deaths. If it wasn't for memes, I don't think I'd know what's happening
