You believe that i should be permabanned from politics for linking an article saying israel would have ran out of weapons if not for Joe Biden resupplying them because that's "misinformation"?
FYI readers, Aubeynarf is also a frequent poster on /Politics. You can guess what type of "nuanced viewpoint" he posts.
No, but banning someone for questioning Israel's right to exist is reasonable, since that's advocating for genocide.
I can see someone eventually getting fed up with the one-sided narrative, and it's true that Israel would not actually have ran out of weapons. We are not the exclusive supplier to Israel, simply the most convenient for them. They are capable of domestic manufacture and purchasing from other entities.
I was not banned for questioning the Apartheidheids state of israels right to exist, another user was.
A colonial Apartheid state is not a people. Saying Apartheid South Africa should not exist does not mean one supports the Genocide of white people.
Israel cannot get their 2000 pound school buster bombs and tank shells in this quantity anywhere else. Even the israeli press reported that israel was starting to run out of weapons before Biden resupplied them which is linked in my post you hopefully read.
Yes, a current supplier stopping its supplies to you will cause your stocks to go down. The mistake is in thinking this cannot be rectified in any other way. You're probably right that the big bombs could only come from us, but big bombs are not really required to destroy Gaza. Napalm would work just fine, and is very cheap. Tank shells are produced all over the world, and I'm not even sure Israeli tanks use NATO standard. If they do, then multiple suppliers could be found.
Actually it is genocide, since the only way to destroy the state of Israel would be to kill or drive away many of its citizens. When you destroy a people's way of life, that qualifies as a genocide, and is why current Israeli actions meet the qualification. If any other group did similar things to Israel, it would also meet the qualification. Saying a colonial state is somehow special is silly. It's people, living on land. Why they arrived there is largely irrelevant, when all of us colonized the whole Earth from Africa at a distant point in the past. Palestinians and Israelis, along with everyone else, are native to Africa, not the Middle East. Everything else is arbitrary. While we could all move back to Africa and leave the rest of Earth to the rest of the animal kingdom, I doubt current-day Africans would be very appreciative.
I'm not sure how your comment has anything to do with this thread, but abolishing Apartheid South Africa has magically turned into Genocide.
So are you claiming anyone posting the israel Ynet article that says israel is running out of weapons should be banned or not?
We were discussing criticizing Israel's right to exist, and whether that is or is not advocating for genocide. Reforming South Africa to change their apartheid system has very little to do with whether Israel should exist or not.
No, posting a single incorrect article should not result in a ban. A pattern of bad behavior should, though.
Interesting so you consider posting MBFC approved news articles bannable bad behavior.
Anything to justify your own narrative I guess.
