It'll pretty quickly become clear to them that someone who appears to be in a time zone pretty distant from the US is following the tactics of the alt-right playbook pretty much to the letter while using the genocide in Palestine to argue for internal US political actions that would result in a fascist being elected and making said genocide worse (not to mention likely starting up one or more genocides of their own).

Their actions match strongly with those of a bad faith contributor who focuses on a single topic (the genocide in Palestine) on one particular side (anti-genocide) whilst advocating for actions that many (including myself) have pointed out would, in fact, lead to the opposite result. When others point this out, what they get in return isn't a nuanced discussion of these concerns, but rather personal attacks that I believe qualify as repeated violations of rule 1.1 of lemmy.world.
