Fight for Bikes is meeting on the South Lawn of Queen's Park on Saturday 23rd at 2pm. After a few speeches at the park, we will split into three groups to bike down University, Yonge and Bloor. Bring your bikes if you have them!
I'm nowhere near Toronto, and I still feel like Doug Ford has put me in mortal danger by stirring up animosity towards bicyclists. There are a few drivers who really don't appreciate being reminded that it isn't strictly necessary to haul around two tons of steel and plastic everywhere you go, and their mindless rage at having to go six inches out of their way to leave room for a bicycle on a road where there's plenty of room (again, not Toronto) will probably kill me some day.
