I laugh everytime I see a post on AustralianSpiders, where OP posts a picture of a black spider with a red stripe and asks "iS tHiS a ReDbAcK????"

The clue is in the name, my guy ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

And yes, it was, and she's gravid - enjoy OP! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I like the ones where OP will show a bit of leg skin with a small welt and ask What bit me?

Um definitely something small and bitey ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Then you get the replies such as: Go and see a GP to Get to the Emergency Room immediately because my best friends dentist's next door neighbour had that same bite and their leg fell off. This is no joke.

And it could be that nothing bit then! They could have just grazed their leg slightly and it raised a welt ๐Ÿ˜‚

Why ask Reddit? They're not psychic time travelling detectives looking to solve the mystery of your minor injury ๐Ÿ˜‚

I'd rather do surgery on myself blindfolded than ask reddit for medical advice.

I used to have that thing where minor scratches would make my skin in that area go puffy. Actually you've just made me realize I haven't gotten that in yonks

Any scratch, even from my fingernails, used to do it. Then it just stopped

Edit: apparently it's called Dermatographia, and in some people just vanishes eventually. Odd, because I'm not allergic to anything

chances are you have been bitten by a redback and dismissed it. Generally it's just swelling and feeling seedy af

Even then, if one has a suspected bite from a redback, don't ask Reddit ๐Ÿ˜‚
