And what is surprising and new here? Most of the time, Finland fought on the side of the German coalition of the Axis countries, trying to take revenge and return the lands lost as a result of the previous Soviet-Finnish war, but after the defeat in the war against the USSR, it concluded an armistice and began hostilities against German troops, and in March 1945 it declared war on Nazi Germany. Finland's participation in the war ended on April 27, 1945, when the last Wehrmacht military formations left the country.
I'm guessing you're hoping people just read the bolded part or something? I don't understand how this is in any way connected to the article. You know full well Finland's whole involvement in WW2 with Nazis was a vengeful war on Russia to return lost lands with 0 interest in anything the axis dictators wanted.
Excellent point of view, to cooperate with the Nazis, the main thing is to take revenge on the Russians. Well, well... I mean, nothing has changed in their minds. Revenge.
