As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title
The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.
Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
Totally forgot that messing with internals can invalidate warranty on most electronics. Thanks for reminding me. Definitely gonna do a reset, then, to ensure it's not just that, before going the hardware route.
In case of the Steam Deck fiddling around on the inside does explicitly not invalidate the warranty. It is specifically made to be easy to repair.
Unless you do something stupid, of course.
But as long as you follow instructions from ifixit you should be golden.
