I got GTA V for free on the epic store.
I kind of want to play it but I don’t want to download their launcher.

Use a third party launcher.
Wouldn’t I have to install epic game store though?
Nah you shouldn't have too. Pretty sure the launcher I use on my Steam deck is called Heroic
