Summary

An Azerbaijan Airlines plane carrying 62 passengers and five crew members crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan, killing at least four people, including both pilots, and injuring 32 survivors, many critically.

The Embraer 190 made an emergency landing following a suspected bird strike and faced strong GPS jamming, according to preliminary reports.

Emergency teams, including specialist doctors, responded to the site. Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have launched a joint investigation.

The crash’s cause remains under investigation.
