I still have not made the custard or finished the big kitchen clean.

However since the big green shed wants to charge me more in delivery fees than I would pay for the actual potting mix - I bit the bullet, yanked out as much of the grass from a small spot as I could and dug out a hole to plant 1 (one) of the rapidly embiggening golden nugget pumpkin seedlings. We’ll see if I’m able to do any more (and if it lives) but I planted that one.Yes, I shouldn’t have done that, I risked really injuring myself and will be exhausted and hurting for days. But my thriftiness lent me strength.
I also took the chance to take some fresh dry soil samples which I should have sorted a long time ago. If I can’t get to the post office myself I’ll see if I can print a prepaid postage label or give someone money and ask them to send it on their way past.
