For what it's worth, the police/media spin about pulling data from the Superchargers was likely a disinformation ruse. The cars are broadcasting telematics over the AT&T cellular modem all the time. I can't find a source right now but there's some data in the past about employees being able to SSH into Teslas whenever they want. All these V2C modems on AT&T are also partly why their network is so slow for phones all the time.

Tesla is a more extreme transmitter of data though, others do transmit telematics for when driving events occur and other diagnostic data, but not as extreme as how Teslas transmit camera views when the car is parked, and such.

tl;dr: The capability is there. Whether President Edgelord would do such a thing is up in the air. He has manipulated Starlink before to affect Russia's invasion into Ukraine, but even for the crazy people, manipulating nameless faceless nation-states versus actively attempting to kill individual humans is a bit of a psychological leap. (Maybe.)
