Well that's positive. He and his people like to be seen as strong and powerful, so I am cautiously optimistic that they'll do a full turn and turn up the aid once they understand that Putin still has maximalist goals in Ukraine...

Don't want to look like they're running from and has lost a confrontation with Russia, after all.
