I find it odd the LL is at the inspection if he has a REA managing the property? And the whole interaction, yikes. The LL will probably have keys. Stay the hell away!

I think I’m close to the sunny chirping part, it bucketed down hard and now the show is over.

Skies darkening, red blob on radar heading directly to me, it’s about to go down.

Looking at houses in locations I'd love to live in but can't afford is a real one. Also, I was deeply fantasising about moving to NYC when I travelled there a couple of years back, asking people I met there about their experience in moving, even though I knew deep down that I'd never do it. It's nice to dream!

Millennial here and while I'm generalising, I don't think our generation is following in boomer footsteps in setting workplace culture. Although the biggest change to workplace culture in my lifetime has been thanks to a global pandemic, with the boomers now trying to pedal us backwards.

Sleepy, the garbage trucks were extra early and extra noisy this morning.

The entry is so grey and dull. The terrace though with the pool, wow. And all those windows.

Just Googled most expensive house sale in Melbourne, $52m. This is a nice house overall but most expensive ever in Melbourne? I dunno.

I sent my biggest new client proposal today (in terms of dollar value) since starting this little insignificant business of mine. I thought it would take years before I'd be pitching for work of this value, but a few things lined up to get this opportunity. Spent hours thinking over the pricing to quote, resisting the urge to quote super cheap just to get in the work. I'm not about being the very cheapest, because I take pride in what I do and doing it well. But also I'm a one-man show so I need to be realistic on what people are going to pay for me vs bigger businesses. They probably come to me expecting cheaper. Thinking of pricing for my work sucks.

Fingers crossed they go ahead! It will keep me busy for a bit.

I'm trying not to pop a hayfever tablet every day because they still work for me. Today is a struggle.

I’m going to the snow at the end of the month and have been messaging a friend I let borrow my ski clothes and equipment two years ago. They just never gave me back my stuff and I forgot about it to now. I’m a bit annoyed they just kept my things, and now my goggles are missing and I don’t remember if I let them borrow. It shouldn’t be up to me to remember and ask for my stuff back, you should give it back once you are done with it without prompt.
