won't there be some limited immunity against H5N1 from N1 part? also regular seasonal flu vaccination should prevent antigenic shift because coinfection is less likely, i think it's a part of advice for high risk farm workers

she's not "being taken advantage of", she had to be in the scam and offered a cut because why would she get in in the first place. she's just in the finding out stage

if anything your empathy seems to be misplaced

i fail to see how that's any better

cryptobros (gender nonspecific) burn our collective future for a quick buck, why tf should feel anyone feel pity for them

shoulda talked tuah lawyer, reinventing 100 year old crimes doesn't come with a get free out of jail card if you think you've figured it out for the first time

if you don't know what are you doing, maybe you shouldn't until you know, or at least do a double take

running crypto scam in fourth year of our lord covid? she should have know better, could have learned about it at any point during last eight years or so. if it's something she had no idea about maybe she shouldn't do it in the first place. she had these 5 min of cringey fame and used it all on grifting

"It's about a society on its way down. And as it falls, it keeps telling itself: "So far so good... So far so good... So far so good." It's not how you fall that matters. It's how you land." (La Haine (1995))

not round enough. more like fragment holes, from a missile. definitely not birdstrike, unless that bird was su-34

irregular, non-circular holes make me think fragments more than anything else

[-] skillissuer@discuss.tchncs.de 25 points 3 days ago

birdstrike by Su-34 or Mig-29

Flight path of a plane that took off from Damascus shorty after news broke that Assad left the city towards unknown destination, which might have been Latakia on Syrian coast which is still under SAA control as of now. Terrain in place where flightradar stopped tracking that plane isn't especially suited for emergency landing

Shortly after crash Syrian Army Command informs officers about fall of the regime https://xcancel.com/Alhadath_Brk/status/1865587913817305454#m

update: it's not spoofed transponder data or controlled landing, locals reported plane crash in the area. rumors so far, but dawn will break soon in Syria and we'll know https://xcancel.com/Schizointel/status/1865593800678130081#m

clarification: there's some chance that Assad went out of Damascus before on other, private jet, so it's not sure and it's all conjecture on unproven information

update 2: there's a claim by Russian media that Assad is in Moscow, so he would have to flee on some earlier plane, but no photos as of now. Still, looked mildly credible at the time

russians seem to have launched another offensive on Vuhledar, there won't be any other result so you can pretend this meme is from the future
