Very, very good. Pricing seems okay as well. Glad the specs are the same so games will work on both versions. Saving straight performance upgrades for the next version seems like the right move.

Very interested in upgrading but I can't justify it to my wallet. I love my Steam Deck as is and often use a portable external screen with it anyhow.

Multiplayer games in general are hard to regulate. MMO's, Mobas, FPS, ARPGs. This games are designed to swallow weeks of your life before you react. When I stopped playing these type of games it didn't become as much of a problem to regulate my gaming.

Write down what an optimal day for someone your age, in your living area, looks like. Weekly activities. Exercise. Etc. Start implementing the we things into your life at a pace that isn't to slow but not too fast either.

Set goals what most of your days should consist of. Most days. Don't set routines that are too nailed down. Don't go overboard. Excersise three times a week? Two days need to be back to back but the third can be anytime during the week? Things like that.

Work this into your routine. Take one step at a time.

If I regret one thing at the age of 37 it would be not having some kind of exercise in my weekly routine from my early 20s. I would be in sooo much better shape, have more energy, be more alert.

Balance in everything is key.

Is it now? I don't hear anything. Gimme an official Xbox Game Pass app tho! Sure it's easy enough to work arround but official apps are guud!

I remember getting Donkey Kong on release for the Super Nintendo and it was more expensive than most games are right now, 66 usd. Name one thing that has the same price in 2023 that it did I 1994. It's insane.

Keyboard doesn't autoshow when I reply, post comments or posts. Only formatting options are showing to add photos, links, Bold, Italic and the three dot menu. I have to tap the middle of the screen once, which seems like a small issue but it's actually extremely annoying. I'm on a Pixel 7 if that helps.

You know when the main selling point of a handheld is an RGB keyboard it's gonna be fucking glorious.

So.. stupid..

The OS is built for the hardware and is optimised accordingly. It's like the other handhelds have performance leaks everywhere while the Steam Deck doesn't. I blame win11. So even if the others are better on paper, actual performance is way better on the Deck. There are so many tools you can download to make it even better, personalise whatever you want. Linux really shines on this thing. And I've never used Linux before in my life. You can emulate everything up to the newest Nintendo games. It handles God of War, it handles Elden Ring and Diablo 4. Controls are awesome. Somehow even my Switch is more tiring to hold even tho the Deck is way bigger. For me it just clicks. I know I sound like I'm on their payroll but I just feel it's that good. And I would swap the Deck in a heartbeat if anything else would be better. But it isn't.

On paper a lot of these devices beat the Deck. In reality the Deck sits on top and looks down on everyone else.

Hello!

First of all thanks for the awesome work on the app! It only took a few days for it to become the best Lemmy client out there! And it's still getting better day by day. Good job!

I would love to be able to tone down the agressive colors in dark mode. Right now I feel attacked by everything blue, red, green, orange or purple. In my opinion pastelles would be a lovely addition. Or just an RGB slider and we make our own. Thoughts?

Also Android (Beta) mode in app only seem to have true black currently?

Thanks in advance!

I believe the point he is making is the app is quite expensive even after adjustments. Compared indie games you are 33% more expensive than Hollow Knight. Only for ad removal.

It's skewed in a lot of our eyes.

Yes eventually your muscles gets big enough and you don't realise you are even holding it. You'll get there. Hang in there!

Kingdom Come: Deliverence. Heard so much good about this game. Open world, you need to train to actually become decent or good at anything at all. Might be a perfect fit.
