It's already a feature on Firefox Mobile (Android, 116.3).
Warner Bros. or Wagner boss?
Well, no shite. I'll use Chromium without adblock and signed-in account, then. I'll separate my YouTube and personal web browsing... oh wait, Firefox Containers exist.
I disabled my Google and YouTube's history settings since 2019.
"Baka po hindi na aabutin ng maghapon, kaya tinurn-off ang badicam. Tipid po sa bateri at memory kard."
Google, or let say the Chromium group, can easily implement "features" that are already present in proprietary Google Chrome, and easily control the Internet and its users' personalized settings.
Indeed, Chromium-built browsers have smooth user experience and simplicity, but at what cost?
Competition will be dead.
But... but... it's an open-source...
Can you store up to 10 corpses on that Polo?
And this is Alec Baldwin's passion project, so yeah.
Personal take on GOMO's UNLI DATA:
- Is it enough for everyday use? More than enough (comms, emails, web surfing)
- Is it really slow? Depends on the location, as always. GOMO can maximize 5Mbps (625KB/s) efficiently.
- Is it good for gaming? I don't do online gaming on my phone, so I cannot tell (sorry).
- Is it enough for nitpliks-ing? Oo naman. Naka-auto setting lang ako sa app, at wala akong na-encounter na buffering pagktapos mag-stream ng Lawrence of Arabia (3hrs), Wild Things (1h48m), at Do Revenge (1h58).
- Okay ba sa spotepai? Yes.
This is my pastime whenever I don't have anything to do online. It's fun to point something on OSM and remembering the establishments you've walkthrough.
