When I had my phone delivered it was from a special courier, not the normal post. I had to show ID in order to accept the delivery.

Bean counting?

That’s what I was thinking, my private keys are also chilling in plaintext on my filesystem.

The only thing that could get me to switch back to windows would be an animatronic Clippy with LLM hallucinations dialed up to 11.

They are succeeding!

I’ve used Linux for years, certainly for all servers, but preferred the Windows desktop environment until last year.

So many shitty, slow updates. Hassle me to give MS my data or switch to Edge half the times I boot up…

I have fully embraced Gnome Shell and love my Debian setup. Feels great to be in control again!

Also, baseline CPU load is way lower and it’s much more rare to have my fans throttle up.

Wow, wasn’t expecting such a feel-good AI story.

I wonder if I could fuck with my ISOs chatbot 🤔

Hmm, so it’s only designed to handle expected scenarios?

That’s not how driving works… at all. 😐

Actually kinda surprised that chromecast doesn’t have ads, at least the model we have.

We have a dumb projector with features such as “select source”.

In my experience, there is not enough proper bike parking in Dutch cities to avoid “wild parking”. A space in a bike rack will almost always be preferred to a random pole.

I recently stumbled upon this articles which nicely illustrates the growing problem.

I wish. More shitty American pickups in the Netherlands each year, further encouraged by a tax loophole.

I hope the gas prices bleed these fuckers dry…

As an American who immigrated to the Netherlands, it’s very relatable.

When you look at how big of a struggle car dominance still is here it’s hard to see NA as anything other than a lost cause.

I find it unfortunate that NJB frames it in such a discouraging way but agree with the sentiment.

It was a bit to bumpy for the computer so we brought that with the metro.
