The fact they never used that data in video recommendations is surprising, and if they started to factor it in would have probably helped make this less of an issue

Yeah my Windows system has my Lightroom install and my Fusion 360 install, part of my laziness is that I hear that you can get both to work but I haven't bothered to shift over and make the attempt at getting them to work.

The open source alternatives for those 2 just aren't there for me.

Funnily enough I could say the same about Windows

That thing has broken itself more times than I can count but my 2 linux machines (I still have 1 Windows machine) have been rock solid for 2 years now

The most only reason I have the last Windows machine is because I've been lazy about switching it lol

The Door [OC] (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

On a recent walk with my TLR camera I stumbled upon this overgrown door and I had to snap a pic of it.

I was really happy when I got home and developed the film to see that this shot came out.

106

I needed some film canisters for 120 film and turns out they're actually hard to find.

And when I did find models for them they had super thin caps so I decided to model one up with a better (IMO) method for securing the cap than threads.

Here's a link for those that want to check it out.

I also made a version for 116 film that's also in the link above.

Also if anyone has a roll of 220 film they could snag the dims of for me that would be great.

Sounds like they're likely also to find themselves in legal trouble

At least one can hope

I've been printing a lot of minis for some tabletop wargaming lately and one of my favorite parts about it is doing little photoshoots of them with my odd lenses.

Probably not a problem for everyone but it was a problem I was running into where my meds weren't being as effective towards the bottom of the bottle and then would work great after a refill.

My meds are supposed to be stored between 67F and 77F and my apartment has been routinely getting to around 85F for days (and weeks) at a time and by the time I was getting close to the bottom of the bottle it wasn't really working that well for me.

So I took one of those can fridges and added some temperature control to it to automatically keep it in the temperature range I need and also added a large bag of dessicant in there to keep the humidity low as those little can fridges suck up moisture something fierce.

So basically make sure your meds are stored properly or you'll probably have some additional issues that you really don't need.

That's what I get for not checking my vat before starting a print right after another one.

Edit: For those that don't know there's supposed to be a nice little screen sized rectangle visible without the fancy looking lowercase "t" pattern.

The screen is broken and needs replacement. So does the FEP as it didn't fair too well either but I already have a few on hand just in case things go sideways.

Edit 2: For anyone who's curious the whole process took me 2 hours to complete. I went in blind and it's good as new if not better. Honestly it's working hella good to the point where I actually had to lower my exposure time because my stuff was now getting overexposed. It's amazing what a new FEP and LCD will do.

If they're advertising a price lock and not delivering a price lock how are they not being hit with the long arm of a government agency for false advertising?

Kernal level anti-cheat means I ain't gonna play it

I don't care where the company is based no game should be requiring kernal level access, that's just opening the door for security concerns

If they have an app they can gather far more personal data from you (and your device) that they can then turn around and sell

Ffs

Yes change the name and iconic logo of a huge corporation, that will go over great.

If he hadn't demonstrated his incompetence earlier I'd think it was intentional.

I still think there's a bit of intent to destroy the company but it's kinda hard to tell.
