Good luck trapping the SIGKILL signal

Pretty sure Luigi's lawyer can (and will?) push for a different judge. I know the justice system in the US sucks but if you don't even give a chance to the rules it'll never be able to do anything right

It's actually the diamond industry that keeps pushing that narrative as -obviously- they want to be the sole supplier

And again, don't have to deal with this corporate nonsense on my Linux machine. Maybe at work just ask IT to switch your machine to Linux. They likely won't, but if enough people complain and ask, they might actually start thinking about using sane systems

I would suggest an umbrella instead, but agree with you on that here, he is right.

Just as a stopped clock shows the correct time twice a day

I don't really think it's a conspiracy of sorts, it's just news media being news media. They want the most clicks, doesn't matter much what for or what the consequences are. it's the same reason why trump yet again got so extremely much news coverage. Had news organizations all decided not to waste their time with trump, we wouldn't have his presidency now. In reality though, everyone and their mother had to talk about trump, it was trump before and after and now we have yet again to deal with this fuck face for a other 4 years. I know that news media aren't the only ones to blame, theyight now even be the worst, but he'll do they have a large share of the blame for all the shit that had been happening lately, and it's all about the clicks, it's all about the money

Yeah, the enemy of my enemy is not my friend. It's just another asshole.

Google, over the past few years has notably getting worse. Apps that always worked flawlessly lately started getting buggy. YouTube app on Android now crashes near daily, Gmail is suddenly riddled with bugs... It wasn't like this.

Google was a software / tech company that started dabbling in ads to make money. This change toe company to what it is now, an ad company that does a bit of tech on the side.

Google Chrome is now the new ie6 and though it sucks in different ways from ie6, at the core the problem is the same

Google and Microsoft are really the same company, it's just that (for now, still) Google's software sucks less

in the US

All people are to be treated equally

You're kidding, right?

[-] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 21 points 2 days ago

With RFK about to be appointed, this might be the thing that takes the US from a superpower to a super duper lepper colony avoided by the rest of the world.

[-] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 9 points 2 days ago

Would be interesting to see the US take a nosedive not seen before in history

I'm sure they'll find some scapegoat somewhere that they'll lynch and then everyone is happy and noone has to take responsibility for the millions of deaths

Just blame the gays, Jews, Muslims, Palestinians, Chinese, poor, homeless, mentally ill, whatever vulnerable group, easy peasy

This is super annoying, as I try to pinch gesture zoom in on an image, and I'll go out of the media back to the list again instead.

I'd like to click to already zoom in somewhat, making punch zoom even easier

If I want to get out, I'll press the back button on my phone, or the back button of connect
